The first stage in the process is to develop a profound understanding of the project. We organise meetings with the client and strive to clearly understand their requirement. There are times when three to four meetings are organised before we move on to the next stage. Only when we understand the project in great detail do we proceed.

Our experience suggests that customers’ requirements are not generally clear cut. They throw at us some random inputs and share the hurdles they currently face. Our job is to convert these problems into solutions. We do brainstorming in order to come up with innovative ideas for the customer. These solutions are then shared with the client for their approval.

Now that we know what needs to be done, we are ready to select the vendor for the project. We send out ‘Request for Proposals’ to the shortlisted service providers. As said earlier, we are extremely cautious with such requirements as a single error with product development can have a significant effect on the clients’ business. After a rigorous evaluation procedure, we select one vendor or recommend you the options.

The selected vendor is suitably trained to take up the project with confidence. Additionally, the requirement is clearly stated to the vendor too. Once the project has been initiated, we also make it a point to maintain regular communication with the vendor and offer frequent feedback.

Finally we look back at the things we did right or wrong and generate insights for the future.
